Case Study: CAPUFE (Federal Roads and Bridges)
Technology for National Highway Infrastructure
CAPUFE (Federal Roads and Bridges) is the Mexican Federal Government agency responsible for operating and managing a significant portion of the country’s highway infrastructure. The team we collaborated with was awarded the contract to develop an innovative monitoring and control system for the national highway network, contributing to one of the country’s most important transportation technology projects.
Our role was to develop a web application featuring a comprehensive administrative platform capable of monitoring vehicle traffic in real time, tracking the number of vehicles passing through toll plazas, and providing the information required to validate and analyze toll collection operations. The platform was designed to process large volumes of data, generate advanced statistics, and support decision-making through a modern, efficient, and highly scalable interface.
The system was initially deployed on one of Mexico’s most important highway corridors, with an architecture specifically designed to be expanded across the rest of CAPUFE’s national infrastructure. The project represented a significant software engineering challenge involving database optimization, performance, and the development of enterprise-level administrative tools.
This project demonstrates our ability to contribute to large-scale government technology initiatives by delivering robust, scalable solutions focused on the analysis and management of mission-critical infrastructure data.
