Case Study: SEP Museum
Interactive Experiences for the New Generation of Digital Museums
The Museum of the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) is one of Mexico’s most significant cultural institutions, recognized for its historical, artistic, and educational heritage. As part of its digital transformation, we developed a series of technology solutions focused on creating interactive visitor experiences that combined art, technology, and new ways of exploring cultural content.
Our work included the development of interactive applications for more than eight different multitouch technology devices, including interactive tables and large-format displays where multiple users could participate simultaneously. These experiences allowed visitors to explore maps, multimedia content, images, interactive games, and digital elements specifically designed to enhance the museum experience.
In addition to developing applications for interactive devices, we implemented a dynamic website with a custom content management system and internal administration tools, allowing museum staff to update information, manage digital assets, and maintain content efficiently. Each solution was designed to integrate seamlessly with the museum’s technology environment while maintaining a consistent digital experience.
This project demonstrates our ability to develop technology solutions for the cultural sector by creating immersive experiences, multitouch interfaces, management systems, and digital platforms that transform the way visitors interact with Mexico’s historical and educational heritage.
